As we looked through the photos of the last year, we were surprised at how much had happened, especially considering how fast it seemed to go. We had a fun year, with lots of adventures big and small. We enjoyed having visitors and spending time with friends and family.

Edward turned one this November. He loves imitating everyone, and he is anxious to catch the attention of his brothers. He really likes being sung to and being close to Mommy and Daddy.

Daniel and Sebastian are almost four years old, and they are getting to understand the wider world a little bit better. They ask surprising questions and have discussions between each other. They like music, books, pretending and exploring.

Mark teaches high school English. He goes out walking and hiking when he has a chance. Heini's work is at home with the boys which she wouldn't change for anything else. Heini's peaceful and relaxing time is her weekly yoga class and her quiet temple trips.

Viime vuoden valokuvia selatessa yllätyimme kuinka paljon meille tapahtui siitä huolimatta että vuosi menikin niin nopeasti. Meillä oli hauska vuosi isoine ja pienine seikkailuinemme. Nautimme vieraistamme ja yhteisestä ajasta perheen ja ystävien kanssa.

Edward täytti vuoden marraskuussa. Hän pitää kaikkien matkimisesta ja haluaa saada veljiensä huomion osaksensa. Hän innostuu kun hänelle laulaa. Useimmiten hän haluaa olla lähellä äitiä ja isiä.

Daniel ja Sebastian ovat melkein neljä vuotiaita ja he alkavat ymmärtää enemmän tästä maailmasta. He kysyvät yllättäviä kysymyksiä ja keskustelevat keskenään. He pitävät musiikista, kirjoista, roolileikeistä ja eri asioiden tutkimisesta.

Mark opettaa englantia lukiossa. Vapaa-ajalla hän menee ulos kävelylle tai luontoon vaeltamaan. Heinin työ on kotona poikien kanssa, mitä hän ei vaihtaisi mihinkään muuhun. Heinin rentouttava ja rauhallinen hetki on hänen viikottainen jooga ja hiljaiset retket temppeliin.
